defend freedoms and deter aggression. The Sensor Power and Analog
Design Department (S-PAD) at Raytheon is seeking electronics
technicians to build, test, document, and troubleshoot analog and
power electronics, assemblies, and systems. The hardware types
perform a variety of functions with applications ranging from low
power to high voltage and high current. Specific tasks may include
hands-on fabrication of prototype hardware, use of electrical test
equipment, fabrication tools and schematic capture. The ideal
candidate is self-motivated, works independently and committed to
developing advanced knowledge and skills related to analog and
power electronics.
Power Distribution - Ground, Air, Shipboard, and Space, Power
Generation, Line Voltage, High Current, Low Voltage, Micro-Power,
DC, AC, Multi-Phase Power Control, Fault Reporting, Isolation,
Protection Circuits, Redundant Systems
* Power Sub-System Design - Filters, Harmonic Control, EMI, Circuit
Simulation, Magnetics, Protective Relay Systems, Short Circuit and
Stress Analyses
* Control Systems - Servo Control Systems, Motor/Power/Process
Control, Digital Feedback Systems, Command Generation, Inertial
Stabilization, Navigation Algorithms
Work closely with engineering teams in a lab environment supporting
research and development electrical concepts to actual products.
Various facets of testing, presenting technical data to engineers
for review.
* Travel to Marlborough, MA; S. degree or 2 years minimum
experience in electronics hardware fabrication, bread boarding,
test, troubleshooting and the ability to read technical
documentation or an A.S. in Electronics Engineering Technology and
4+ years of relevant experience. Experience in using a variety of
power and digital test equipment to verify the performance of
electronics such as oscilloscopes, function generators, power
sources AC/DC.
* Experience with soldering surface mount and through hole
electronics, fabricate electrical-mechanical hardware such as test
boxes and wire harnesses.
* S. government issued security clearance is required. S. citizens
are eligible for a security clearance.
*Hands-on experience with high voltage or high current
electronics
* Experience troubleshooting/servicing field equipment
