Job DescriptioneFX Java Developer High Frequency Trading, Vice PresidentWho we are looking forMach is the principal automated trading system for the EFX group.Starting more than a decade ago, MACH has experienced considerable expansion, with steady increases in trading volumes and PnL contributions for State Street.EFX comprises an enthusiastic global development team that develops, supports, and maintains a meshed-based platform trading automatically from Sunday to Friday on a follow-the-sun basis. This system is large, with thousands of client connections, automated trading strategies, and components to operate.We are seeking energetic developers with a full-stack mentality, who understand how to write high-performance code, possess good problem-solving skills, can operate under pressure, and communicate effectively across all lines of the business.Additionally, since we develop the system, we also directly support it. This means the development team operates at the coalface and is closely aligned with the business.Applicants should possess business knowledge and demonstrate an understanding of FX Spot, Forward, Swap, Benchmarks, and eNDF trading.Why this role is important to usMACH is a strategic business initiative with a multi-year expansion plan.   • 10+ years of experience as a developer.
  • 5+ years of experience in automated trading systems.
  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent.Salary Range: $130,000 - $205,000 annuallyThe salary range applies to the primary location specified.
