more secure world. This is a 2nd Shift position with an 8% shift
differential Provide Operations Engineering support to the Circuit
Card Assembly Factory located in Andover, MA. Primary
responsibilities will be to support the Operation of SMT Process
lines, which includes automated and programmable equipment, for
multiple products. Additional responsibilities include process
improvement, cycle time reduction, defect prevention and operator
support. Individual will be required to participate in process
improvement initiatives, establishment of process base line
metrics, SPC implementation, Defect prevention, and process data
analysis. What You Will Do /n - Advanced knowledge of Solder defect
prevention detection, and assessment to ANSI J-STD-001 Class 3
solder joint specifications /n - Translating engineering design
requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation /n -
Computer and machine programming for manufacturing automation /n -
Dispositioning of discrepant hardware /n - Leading root cause and
corrective action investigations to solve problems and prevent
recurrence /n - Participate in process improvement and cost
reduction initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodology /n -
Manufacturing process development and support /n - Conducting
safety / ergonomic assessments /n - Interaction with senior
personnel on technical matters often requiring coordination between
organizations and / or suppliers. /n - Tool/fixture development to
drive ergonomics and reductions in cost and/or defect /n /n
Qualifications You Must Have /n - Typically Requires a Bachelor's
degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and
minimum 2 years of relevant experience. /n - Minimum 1 year of
previous manufacturing experience /n - The ability to obtain and
maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

for a security clearance /n /n Qualifications We Prefer /n -
Experience in applying Lean Manufacturing principals /n - Knowledge
and experience with ANSI J-STD-001 Class 3 & IPC-CC-830 /n -
Experience with supporting circuit card assembly production floor,
(process and/or quality focus). /n - Specialized Tooling
Development (Jigs, Fixtures, Specialized Packaging Development) /n
- Experience supporting the following equipment: /n - SMT Screen
Printers and Solder Paste Inspection Machines /n - SMT Adhesive
Placement Machines /n - SMT Component Placement Machines /n -
Automated Optical inspection Machines /n - Reflow Ovens /n - X-Ray
Inspection Equipment and touch up operations /n - Knowledge and
ability to apply Six Sigma principles and techniques /n -
Innovative mindset that drives continuous improvement and keeps
pace with advances in technology /n - Demonstrated hands-on
mechanical aptitude with the ability to work across disciplines /n
- Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools /n - Active DoD

primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance
employees, as they are essential to the development of our
products. /n As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure

remote. The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative
of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when

experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired
