Job Description:

MV Transportation, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Information Technology Manager to lead our IT department in developing and implementing IT solutions that enhance our transportation and logistics services across North America. The ideal candidate will manage our IT infrastructure and systems to ensure reliable and efficient operations that support our robust transportation networks, including paratransit, fixed route, shuttle, and school bus services. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of how technology can enhance operational efficiency and service quality in the transportation sector. Oversee the daily operations of the IT department and provide strategic direction for the development and implementation of information technology initiatives. Manage IT projects from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring they align with business goals and are delivered on time and within budget. Maintain and enhance IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems, to support organizational needs. Lead the IT team in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications and databases relevant to transport management and operations. Ensure data security, network access and system integrity, and implement disaster recovery plans and data backup procedures. Liaise with other department heads to facilitate the integration of IT solutions into various aspects of the business. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and equipment. Prepare and manage the IT department's budget. Stay informed about the latest technology trends and innovations in the transportation sector and assess their potential application to business. Strong proficiency in managing large scale IT projects Excellent knowledge of IT systems including hardware, software, and networks Experience with database management and security protocols Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Superb leadership and communication abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a leadership role Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) preferred but not required
