seeking a motivated Senior Software Section Leader to join the
Patriot Software Team within the Air and Missile Defense Software
Department. As a Section Leader, you will be responsible for the
oversight of software personnel to meet program needs. The ideal
candidate is a well-disciplined individual with a proven applicable
technical background, who is able to thrive in a dynamic agile
environment and is able to work well in a team setting. What You
Will Do - Ensure that each employee has suitable work assignments
and opportunities for growth and advancement - Contribute to the
technical oversight of employees in support of their daily work
assignments - Performance development and appraisal - Salary and
staffing planning - Ensuring the adherence to company policies and
the communication of company and program information - Responsible
for supporting a major program task within the Patriot domain -
This position requires exclusive onsite presence. Qualifications
You Must Have - Typically requires a bachelor’s in science,
Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10
years of prior relevant experience. - Minimum of 2 years experience
in functional management, leading a medium to large size team -
Lead and / or project management experience - The ability to obtain
and maintain an interim secret U.S. security clearance prior to the
start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are
eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer -
Active Secret security clearance. - Functional management
experience (Managing performance, conducting reviews, mentoring,
care and feeding of staff, hiring, etc). - Cost / Schedule
Management and Reporting experience - Strong communication,
interpersonal and decision-making skills - Customer focus and
collaboration skills - Effective presence and influential
leadership capability, with the ability to interact with senior
levels of leadership effectively – including customer, Raytheon
Technologies teammates and suppliers - Proven experience with
software development techniques and tools, including some, or all,
of the following computer languages: C and Ada - Experience in
embedded systems, real-time systems, or large-scale applications.

remote. The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600
USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate
representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as

these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a
