Key Responsibilities Serve as a Lead Product Designer, establishing our global eCommerce experience with both user and business needs in mind Communicate ideas effectively from concept through development, exuding a collaborative approach with cross-functional teams Develop compelling, mobile first user experiences that are driven by data and user research Approach work with thought leadership in User-Centered Design, and design-thinking to achieve a customer-centered solution Lead test plans and help facilitate user-centered research, such as usability testing, contextual inquiry, and field interviews Influence product, marketing, sales executives and partner company team members through storytelling and analytics Prototype, design, validate and collaborate with technical teams to develop global templates and components for Boston Scientific---s customer-facing solutions Proposes new solutions or optimizes existing ones. Encourages artifact reuse and consistency across team members and projects. Work within atomic design principles, contributing to and maintaining our Design System Develop requirements, designs and documentation for global templates and components Contribute to the global UX design standards and framework Qualifications (List minimum education and experience required) 6 years of professional UX/UI design experience, with strong design leadership BS / MS in a design-related concentration Excellent analytical, verbal, writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with others across the organization Fluent in usability standards and design heuristics and responsive design techniques Complete UX skill set: workshop facilitation, identifying customer problem statements, problem discovery, solution generation, concept creation, wireframing, testing, synthesis, iteration, prototyping, heuristic evaluation, competitive analysis, customer journey mapping, applying design systems and producing deliverables for development. Demonstrate experience in ideation, UX strategy, rapid prototyping and leading user validation Deep experience in eCommerce, re-platforms, product catalog development and a solid understanding of a Product Information Management system (PIM) and Digital Asset Management systems (DAM) Strong knowledge of content management systems and designing global templates/components to. Experience with SAP Hybris a plus. Demonstrate experience working in agile methodologies, with many different teams, including Product, Marketing, Content Strategy, Development Expert using Sketch and InVision, with experience Sketching/using InVision (or other program) for rapid-prototyping. Solid understanding of Adobe CC. Deep familiarity of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, SASS, JS. You need to be able to discuss your solutions with developers, but you do not need to be a developer Have a solid understanding of accessibility guidelines and how to design to achieve ADA compliance An online portfolio of that demonstrates unfailing advocacy for the user. Examples of your work include: running cross functional concepting sessions, defining design/system strategy and over all approach, and then executing using user flows, wireframes, UI patterns, and high fidelity mocks
