Drift is the Revenue Acceleration platform that uses Conversational Marketing and Conversational Sales to help companies grow revenue and increase customer lifetime value, faster. More than 50,000 businesses use Drift to align sales and marketing on a single platform to deliver a unified customer experience where people are free to have a conversation with a business at any time, on their terms. About the team This role sits on the Drift marketing team and reports to our VP of Content & Community, Mark Kilens. You'll work alongside the marketing team, people team, and hundreds of Drifters to educate, inspire, and motivate the Drift team. You'll be responsible for defining Drift's L&D strategy and building its L&D team to help Drift accomplish its mission of building an enduring and equitable organization. You'll be responsible for the overall L&D strategy and vision, and executing three pillar L&D programs. First, train every Drifter about Revenue Acceleration and our Revenue Acceleration Platforms. Second, create diversity, inclusion, and allyship training and programs in partnership with partner organizations. Third, define a set of leadership and management curriculum and mastery programs. You'll work in close partnership with the Content and People team's at Drift, helping to design and produce content using teaching frameworks and learning pedagogies.-- What you'll be doing on the team

  • Develop, communicate and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy to support Drift's global expansion--
  • Analyze and deploy the appropriate digital first training methods across multiple time zones--
  • Partner with members of the people, marketing, and sales/CS productivity organizations to assess and analyze our Learning and Development (L&D) needs.
  • Support the execution and delivery of current programs and analyze those programs for improvement
  • Develop a diversity, inclusion, and allyship curriculum for employees to support continuous learning and development
  • Lead the planning design, and implementation of programs using appropriate techniques to maximize the learning and development experience.
  • Implement measurement tools and programs to analyze the achievement of established goals and business outcomes
  • Manage the individual development planning process for current and emerging leaders and provide them with L&D methods and tools
  • Develop a train the trainer program to support our growing L&D program
  • Coach the L&D team in the development, design, delivery and evaluation of high impact learning interventions
  • Support organisational change through the development of targeted learning interventions ensuring there is a 'joined up' approach for colleagues maintaining engagement and increasing change capability
  • Develop leadership training and management competence schemes and that are aligned our leadership principles and strategy
  • Oversee the effective use of the Drift Insider to manage and evaluate learning using key metrics to support a high impact learning-outcome culture About you and what type of skills you'll need:
    • 6+years of corporate L&D experience
    • 4+ years of experience leading and managing L&D teams
    • You're a curious learning machine
    • You're well versed on the different modalities of learning--
    • You know how to design and build lesson plans that drive learning and business outcomes
    • You have a deep understanding of L&D and its benefits to an organization in terms of onboarding, employee development, and enablement
    • You love creating things and learning from what you create
    • You're passionate about teaching others
    • You're able to manage a cross functional L&D initiative
    • You have strong writing skills and can apply feedback accurately and consistently
    • You have strong organizational and project management skills--
    • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and aren't afraid of video
