We are searching for a Director of Sales. This position is
responsible for managing a team of Account Executives selling
business applications/solutions and related services to existing
Aderant, is a software house providing business management
software for legal firms. Our talented and enthusiastic staff mean
that we have become a trusted partner to firms of all sizes, from
boutique firms based in one office, to global organizations
spanning four continents. While our legacy has been providing
on-premises software, we're also embracing the opportunities
presented by cloud services and taking advantage of them.
Candidate must be flexible and excited about working in a fast
paced company; have proven communication and organizational skills;
and be willing and able to focus on both internal and external
customer service to meet business needs. This role requires high
energy and is very transaction oriented.
- Mentor, coach and develop sales team to meet business
- Responsible for sales team pipeline development, deal
forecasting, and deal execution.
- Guide Account Executives on resource allocation, account
strategy, and planning.
- Assist with developing solution proposals encompassing all
aspects of the relative application suites.
- Ensure that all Account Executives are following the company's
standard sales process.
- Assist with negotiations and contractual agreement to close the
- Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party
influencers and partners.
- Create business strategies and processes with management
- Direct team to properly prospect and close new business
- Motivate and drive team to exceed sales targets
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years sales experience and/or sales management
- Bachelor degree or equivalent. MBA is preferred.
- Highly developed solution selling, customer relations and

individual achiever or team lead.
- Knowledge of the legal industry is a plus.
- Experience selling applications to the legal industry and
existing contacts in the industry is a plus.
- Ability to interact with C level executives.
