hiring a Procurement Contracts Manager, Sourcing. As a Procurement
Contracts Manager, Sourcing, you will be responsible for supporting
all aspects of various Procurement initiatives that include RFP
development and contracting in support of corporate functions
including IT, Education, Marketing, and Facilities, Office
Services. You will be the initial point of contact for inquiries
regarding vendor contract requests, facilitates "kick off" call
with business owner, Procurement, and legal team to determine
contracting approach. You will manage repository of supplier
agreements, ensure compliance with Bright Horizons standard terms
and conditions, summarizes basic agreements for review by VPs and
business owners across corporate functions, Sourcing Managers, VP
of Procurement, and obtains final approval by Bright Horizon's
What you will be doing:
- Negotiates major Bright Horizons agreements, develops contract
summaries for review by key constituent groups. Interacts with both
internal teams including IT, Facilities, Education, Marketing,
Facilities, Office Services, and external personnel, both within
bright horizons and with our vendor partners.
- Develops metrics that support business objectives and serves as
the focal point for the procurement team to communicate the results
to key constituent groups.
- Interfaces with communications team to support the development
of content for the procurement web site.
What we hope you will bring to this role:
The ideal candidate must exhibit high intellectual acumen and
curiosity, and should also demonstrate most, if not all, of the
following skills and experience:
- College degree required, law degree preferred. A minimum of
five years of contract administration or paralegal experience
- Must be detail oriented and have excellent interpersonal,
organizational, analytical, problem solving, and written and oral
- Experience required in basic contract review and interpretation
of master services agreements, and implementation of contracts and
- Candidate must possess excellent desktop application skills
including Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, Adobe and
- Must have proven ability to initiate and manage multiple tasks
under competing deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Must show ability to work independently as well as function as
a member of a team in a rapidly changing environment.
