programs and to help support new employees through their first
year, Open Sky has created a bonus program! Employees being hired
into this position will be eligible for this Sign On/ Stay On Bonus
program and receive a $500 bonus ( pro-rated for Part-Time) on a
quarterly basis for their first year. This will total up to
Open Sky Community Services is a human service agency that
provides counseling services and treatment options to people
diagnosed with a mental illness or developmental disability. The
Employment Facilitator works day hours, Monday-Friday and supports
adults with a developmental disability within an Employment Program
This program serves 17 individuals ranging in age from young
adult to middle aged adult. This program serves a group of young
adults who may have unique safety, behavioral or other clinical
challenges to choose, get and keep a job of their choice. The
program offers a more intensive staffing ratio to provide needed
supports to allow the individuals to gain and maintain a preferred
job in the community.
Open Sky Community Services agency provides generous time off,
starting at 27 days your first year. Open Sky ialso provides
various free trainings, yearly salary increases and room for
advancement. Our agency is an eligible employer for the public
Student Loan forgiveness Program, as well as provides tuition
reimbursement and will fully compensate for some certifications,
including a CNA certification.
Facilitate the choosing, getting, and keeping of community
employment or other meaningful occupation for each individual.
Facilitate activities that develop of valued community roles and
personal relationships Implement all procedures that ensure
individual health, safety, and well being. Implement all prescribed
medical protocols. Ensure the physical safety and cleanliness of
the program Develop and implement all rehabilitation, recovery, and
other service plans. Assist people to access, and/or provide, all
needed transportation. Review and complete all required
documentation. Communicate all pertinent information to all
stakeholders. Participate in supervision, team and other related
meetings. Provide flexible program coverage, transportation and
support, based on need. Acquire and maintain all certifications.
Perform other related tasks as assigned.
B.A. preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent and valid
driver's license issued a minimum of 3 years ago with a clean
driver history required.
