What we're looking for:

The Senior Demand Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and managing the demand strategy and plans to support Citrix marketing campaigns. This role will drive the demand campaign strategy across integrated marketing teams, and will develop and manage demand plans to drive inquiries and meet pipeline goals, as well as measure and report on campaign performance across teams. The ideal candidate will have a curiousity for testing new and innovative approaches to generate demand, and will take a data-driven approach to planning and optimizing demand plans across both inbound and outbound channels.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Have a deep understanding of historical campaign performance by segment, audience, product, channel, content and region to drive data-driven strategic campaign recommendations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the market opportunity by segment, industry trends, competitive landscape and Citrix products
  • Leverage segmentation work and buying group data to define target audiences and channels of reach for demand programs, and deliver insights to drive segmentation and audience optimization
  • Define demand program KPIs and measurable goals, and develop quarterly forecasts to ensure inquiries, MQLs and pipeline deliver on goals across all channels and align to demand targets
  • Represent demand strategy in global integrated campaign framework, and partner with Marketing Enablement, Brand, Social and Alliances teams to ensure a seamless, full funnel brand to demand campaign
  • Collaborate with PMM and Brand to define buyer needs, positioning and messaging to drive demand program requirements for target audiences
  • Partner with Content Marketing and PMM to define content requirements and mapping throughout journey stages
  • Develop and socialize quarterly omni-channel, multi-touch demand plans aligned to sales plays and marketing and campaign strategy, and manage timely activation
  • Analyze and share campaign performance and consistently track performance to ensure pacing to deliver on goals and pipeline targets
  • Evaluate campaign program and channel performance to implement optimizations and improve spend efficiency, and provide strategic recommendations for optimizing performance across segments, audiences, products and regions
  • Brief digital marketing team on campaign strategy to enable effective agency briefings to achieve goals
  • Work with Demand Management and Enablement teams to ensure Sales has tools and resources necessary to follow up on marketing leads, and to obtain feedback that will help optimize program performance & investments
  • Research marketing trends to continually innovate and test new lead generation approaches
  • Effectively communicate campaign strategy, plans and performance across key stakeholders and executives
  • Demonstrate ability to lead a small team of demand campaign strategists
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS or equivalent professional experience required
  • 10+ years progressive marketing experience, with 5+ years in B2B demand generation
  • Experienced SaaS demand marketer with experience working in a distributed global marketing organization
  • Track record of success developing and executing demand campaign strategy and plans to support marketing priorities and meet campaign goals, including pipeline generation
  • Strong ability to analyze data to drive recommendations for program, channel and campaign optimization
  • Strong knowledge of inbound and outbound channels and their role in the customer journey
  • Desire to research, learn, test and improve through innovative new approaches to marketing
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a changing environment, and lead and drive direction with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to effectively document and communicate plans in multiple formats, including powerpoint and excel
  • Attention to detail with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Business savvy individual who likes to stay abreast of emerging trends and marketing tactics
