ORGANIZATION AND POSITION
We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager, with a
base in the Northeast. You will report to a Sales Director and
develop sales further through a network of partners (Distributors,
Certified Systems Integrators, OEMs), who were established during
the company's first years, and who already generate a considerable
revenue. The distributor and integrator partners focus within the
manufacturing and logistics industries, and therefore have
extensive knowledge of their respective markets and focus on
supplying effective, technical solutions.
Your primary areas of responsibility will be to support and
develop our distributors, penetrate target Global Accounts and
above all generate sales. You also know that creating results
through distributors is an industry with many facets. Therefore,
your task is to create interest for MiR products among end
customers and focus among dealers in selling MiR's innovative
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Establishing new partnerships (distributors, integrators, OEMs,
Global Account End Users) in the regions.
- Support existing distributors as they go through our sales
process (Qualify Project, Successful Robot Demo, Proof of Concept,
- Visits to end customers.
- Participate in PR and marketing events.
- Responsible for preparing and executing on sales and marketing
- Manage customer relationships, maintain or develop knowledge
about our customers.
- Build rapport with key decision makers on various customer
functions and levels.
- Focus on reporting, volume planning and forecasting, you will
use existing tools for customer visit reports, contract management
and the budget process in an accurate and timely manner.
In this exciting role you will be responsible for reaching
targets, and you will support customers after the sale in
conjunction with the technical support department.
As a partner for your distributors, you will have the technical
know how to give in-depth product and application information and
provide your distributors with advice. You will coordinate and
communicate internally with partners and drive actions and
decisions including the distribution of market information as well
as competitive intelligence into the organization.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-7 years' sales experience (distribution and / or
- Automation sales experience is a strong plus.
- Demonstrable success in advising on / selling technical
- Driven and have infectious energy and passion.
- Ability to create trust among the dealers which is created
through long term methodical and persistent effort.
- Essential to possess and show cultural understanding, emotional
intelligence, and responsiveness.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or other technical
