In this role, you will be responsible for all things iRobot social media. You will set and achieve strategic growth goals on all social media accounts for the Brand. You will manage and engage with our large group of very loyal iRobot followers while pursuing and creating connections with new ones. You will have the incredible opportunity to translate our powerful brand message to all consumer touchpoints on social working directly with our Sr. Director of Global Brand and Product Marketing. You will use your skills to build and grow our numbers around the interests of our customers -- while making them feel unique. You will guide our teams across the globe in developing core social media strategies that align with our brand and help them grow. This role is also responsible for driving our owned influencer strategy alongside the iRobot media center of excellence.

You are a creator, and influence driver, an expert in what consumers want from a brand across social platforms and are ready to drive new ideas and growth for iRobot.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the daily voice of iRobot and carry the brand personality into relevant and timely cultural conversations

  • Utilize your keen sense of culture to determine where iRobot should engage, how the brand shows up, get iRobot noticed in culture, while staying true to brand values

  • Ideate and define the blend of brand and product social strategy and corresponding content - unified by a cohesive voice; but tailored to the unique aspects of each platform.

  • Create a content calendar for all social that enhances the broader marketing plan

  • Curate beautiful and engaging platform integration across IG, FB, TikTok that represents iRobot and what we stand for

  • Live and breathe our brand voice and style guides, and continue to develop them through content, alongside our agency & creative teams

  • Aggregate comments, questions, and concerns across all public channels

  • Track, analyze and share KPI reports with team to optimize content performance and audience growth

  • Track and monitor KPIs in real time to adjust or pivot strategies, tactics and content development as needed; synthesize analytics to inspire new ideas

  • Monitor customer service inquiries via all social channels to provide immediate support and resolution where needed

  • Work hand-in-hand with our customer service team to make sure they fully resolve issues, feedback and questions. Use this insight to deliver what our customers want.

  • Guide and drive regional marketing teams and distributors social platform strategy, brand voice, new ideas and thinking to grow their channels

  • Create robust and engaging influencer strategies navigating both macro and micro trends

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Lives and breathes social - thrives off creating content and communications that genuinely connect with audiences and deliver brand voice

  • Experience working with regional marketing teams outside of US; understanding market nuances and translating core strategies to other markets

  • Willing to both drive big picture strategy and the day-to-day tactical execution

  • Extensive experience creating and driving content creation that bring our brand voice to life

  • Experience managing an extensive content calendar for each platform

  • Inclusive, creative, courageous, discerning, curious, and devoted to putting the customer first

  • Experience building and growing a team

  • You don't just follow trends you are inspired to create your own and you are the first to jump in and make sure our brand is tapping into cultural moments that align with our customer segments


  • 5+ years of social media strategy and content creation experience with proven track record of delivering key KPIs

  • Experience both leading and managing a team

  • Direct-to-Consumer experience preferred but not required

  • Strong writing and editorial skills with utmost attention to detail

  • Comprehensive, nuanced understanding of all social platforms, including emerging creative sensibility and a keen eye for look and feel, editorial storytelling experiences are a plus

  • Highly motivated self-starter; capable of working independently, yet collaboratively, within a fast-paced environment

  • Results-driven with the ability to analyze data and deduce implications for social and engagement strategies

  • Quick-thinking, creative, hands-on, stress-tolerant, problem-solver

  • Has a strong growth mindset and is receptive to feedback
