The Organization

We have replaced the conventional management hierarchy and organized ourselves using Holacracy.

The Role

Labster is looking for an experienced Strategic Partnerships professional to lead the identification of partnership opportunities, drive cross-functional assessments, and manage execution to realize long-term value.

As part of the Strategy and Business Development team at Labster, you will be integral to the development of Labster's partnerships strategy and work with the Sales, Product, Engineering and Finance teams to develop and launch new strategic partnerships that support Labster's priorities and growth ambitions.

We are looking for a strategic partnerships lead with strong commercial and product instincts to craft thoughtful partnerships for our established business units as well as more explorative partnerships for nascent and emerging products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft thoughtful partnerships in support of Labster objectives
  • Lead conversations and negotiation processes end-to-end
  • Work with teams including Sales, Legal, Product and Finance to launch and manage partnership programs and develop Labster's partnership strategy and ecosystem
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key Labster partners
  • Identify the right stakeholders within partner organizations that can champion Labster, educate them about Labster's value proposition and understand their needs
  • Structure and negotiate deals with partners in pursuit of identified goals


  • You are low ego and have a knack for working well with a wide range of people and teams
  • You have 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, consulting, investment banking, or a comparable role in high growth EdTech company
  • An understanding of product strategy and key requirements for scaling products and operations through partnerships, especially with a "users first" mentality
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating partnership agreements, with a strong perspective on how partnerships can create value and differentiation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills - including the ability to speak to different functional stakeholders
  • An ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity
