ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• 35% Supervise 1st shift EBM Process Operators (5a-130p) 35%
•  
• Use department databases to track and manage scheduled EBM production. Effectively follow SOPs, policies, and ISO/QSR inventory requirements. 15%
•  
• Provide direction and guidance to intermediate and entry level Process Operators. Communicate technical details of production schedule to 1st & 2nd shift manufacturing personnel. 6%
•  
• Assist in updating SOPs, as necessary, and manage frozen skin inventory levels. 5%
•  
• Provide support for the Quality System during corporate audits, actively participate in department activities and confirm compliance with controlled procedures as required. 2%
•  
• Attend all scheduled production meeting – report on all resource issues such as personnel – materials and equipment. 2%
•  
• Review & transact DHR Batch Records in MASS200 and Oracle system (when needed).

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.

Education: Associates degree or bachelor’s degree

Experience:
Minimum 2-5 years’ supervisory experience in a highly technical field
Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in process control - Prior experience with Medical Devices is a plus
Must be able to supervise 15 - 17 direct reports while performing their own assigned duties
Use of math skills relative to physical counting of raw material (calculations involving basic functions in English and metric units)
Knowledge of ISO, FDA and QSR concepts and guidelines preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Outstanding attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner
Ability to effectively communicate Inventory details to Engineers, Supervisors and other material effected groups
Demonstrated ability to work accurately, follow instructions/schedules/timelines and handle multiple priorities
Knowledge of various MS Office application such as: Word, Outlook and Excel
Experience with Oracle preferred
Experience with MASS200 preferred
