The Account Executive will help grow our customer base as my client enters and expands into new markets. Key roles & responsibilities include:

* Generating and closing deals in 2-4 assigned states

* Managing pipeline opportunities in assigned states, from beginning to end

* Visiting customers in assigned states (to support customer happiness and referrals)

* Generating, attending, and strategizing for demos / prospect meetings

* Guiding the proposal and contracting process for assigned pipeline opportunities

* Collaborating with and directing our Inside Sales team to follow up with leads and book demos in assigned territories

* Collaborating with our Marketing team to generate and distribute lead-generating content in assigned territories (e.g., onsite events, group demos, state-specific webinars)

* Updating our CRM system to accurately forecast revenue output in assigned states

Success in this role will be defined by signed software opportunities in the Account Executive's territories.

*You Have: *

* 3-6 years of Sales experience (preferably software sales, but not required)

* Government, Tax or Public Sector Experience a huge plus

* Education or EdTech Experience a plus

* Demonstrable history of generating and closing leads in assigned markets

* Demonstrable history of creativity in lead generation and/or nurturing

* A respect for and understanding of the value of strong Marketing content

* A desire to own an enterprise software market

* Uncommon ambition and desire to grow professionally

* Exceptional organization and attention to detail

* Competitiveness as a team, collaboration as an individual

* Willingness to travel up to 75%
