Our digital security client customer is exclusively working with us in recruiting a Vice President of Customer Communications. Trusted by over 2 million customers, this company has made a focus on personal security and has stood out in this market by being highly customizable and user friendly. This is a permanently remote, people management role with a goal to drive revenue through existing customers while also increasing top of the funnel sales through the companys free trial and conversion rate optimization campaigns.

Reporting to the SVP of Product and Brand Marketing, every day will be different to meet your goals. These goals will center around how you are effectively developing customer segmentation and content strategies that maximize open rate, campaign engagement and deliverability rate. This is a people management role, with a small team of 2-3 individual contributors that will aid in executing campaigns flawlessly across multiple customer touch points in order to drive post-sale (cross sell, upsell) revenue and customer engagement. You will partner cross-functionally with technology and recommend the implementation of the appropriate tech stack when needed that will enable optimal data integration, campaign execution and performance, creating business cases to support that investment. This role will also work closely product, inbound telesales and customer service to ensure coordinated campaign efforts across touchpoints and drive optimized performance. You will also be responsible for driving project forecasting efforts to enable clear measurement, and smart prioritization of campaign development and optimization.

- Free trial optimization experience pertaining to software products

- Experience working within startup companies
5+ years in a customer communications/pre sales space or similar leadership role

Demonstrated success at driving campaign performance improvement through customer segmentation in a Saas or eCommerce environment.

Deep knowledge of the ESP, CMS and CDP spaces as well as an understanding of consumer data protection laws and CAN SPAM regulations.

Ability to work in a highly cross functional and rapidly changing environment

Familiarity with tools like Attentive, Klaviyo or a similar SMS marketing technology

Strong communication skills, with an ability to articulate concepts clearly and concisely

Bachelors degree in a related field
