Job Description:

A client in the Subcontracts Manufacturing industry is looking to add a Senior IT Support Specialist to their team in Melbourne FL. This person will be responsible for support of hardware, operating systems, desktop applications, Outlook, printers and fax machines. They will also be asked to set up workspaces and should be able to collaborate easily with customers both internal and external to the company. They should expect approximately 100 tickets per week and will troubleshoot or escalate according to degree of issues encountered. They will report into the direct management of the sys admin team leader and will have continuous opportunity for growth and development

-Bachelors Degree

-Sysaid ticketing system
-8+ years of experience in IT Support of PC, desktop, and network related issues

-Experience with support requests through a ticketing system, phone or email

-Strong knowledge of PC Architecture

-Expertise in Microsoft tools such as Active Directory (add/change/delete/permissions), Word/Excel/Outlook as well as Windows OS

-Experience with networking concepts and administration.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to present complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
