The client is growing and we need support to help enable our
current HR processes around Employee Relations and be a part of the
effort to scale them as we grow. Our client is looking for an
experienced Employee Relations Specialist who can serve as the
point of contact for employee relations issues in CMC. In this
role, you will work across all CMC and ensure appropriate and
timely resolution of workplace concerns and performance-related
issues. This is a contract position with an opportunity to convert
to full-time for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will
demonstrate clean and concise communication, have sound judgment,
and can diagnose problems and recommend solutions that are in line
with employment-related policies and practices. Here's What You'll
Do: Own the resolution of employee relations issues, investigate
and offer recommendations/solutions to employee complaints and
concerns, compose investigation reports, propose remedial action
based on investigations findings and advise managers, performance
monitoring and evaluation, employment laws, and company policies
Helps to maintain a positive employee relations climate by
proactively providing guidance to managers and responding to
employee inquiries Works collaboratively with employees and
departmental leadership in carrying out their responsibilities on
employee relations matters Participates in the investigation and
resolution of ongoing employee relations problems, such as working
conditions, disciplinary actions, and employee appeals and
grievances; The Employee Relations Specialist responds effectively
to employee relations queries Provides guidance and recommendations
for problem resolution to departmental leaders and employees; Helps
employees and departmental leadership settle work-related conflicts
through advice and guidance Partners with Employee & Labor
Relations Manager Legal Team in conducting employee relations
investigations The Employee Relations Specialist identifies and
recommends solutions when repetition of individual problems
indicates negative trends, including disciplinary and commendatory
actions Documents all employee relations matters as appropriate for
the situation and in accordance with legal compliance and
organizational policies and procedures Here's What You'll Bring to
the Table: A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a
corporate HR environment A minimum of 1-year experience using
Workday or other HRIS systems. A desire to be part of a

communication skills --- you are communicative. MS Outlook and

degree or higher in Business or related field or equivalent

fast-paced environment Ability to establish trust and credibility

and Outlook Preferred Experience: Certification in Human Resources
Previous HR/ER/Retail industry experience Basic knowledge of
workplace investigations, employee advocacy, and EEO compliant
Experience using the case management system Multi-lingual
