As part of the Oncology Drug Discovery Unit, you will report to Senior Scientist Ashvin Jaiswal.How you will contribute: Contribute to pre-clinical projects by developing well-defined mechanistic experiments and projects within immuno-oncology research. Opportunity to lead from the lab to promote novel immuno-oncology therapeutic modalities toward clinical milestones. Execute functional in vitro and ex vivo assays to understand the mechanism of action of novel therapeutic agents. Implement well-defined experiments and projects based on scientific theory, all data, and technical literature to promote data-driven decisions. Propose novel projects based on internal results, external partners, and published reports. Demonstrate knowledge of immuno-oncologyMinimum Requirements/Qualifications: PhD degree in a scientific discipline (no post doc experience required) , or MS with 4+ years experience, or BS with 6+ years experience Experience with data analysis software, such as FlowJo and GraphPad Prism Demonstrate scientific leadership from the lab within project teams. Experience isolating, phenotyping, and manipulating primary human and murine immune cells for in vitro and ex vivo assays (e.g. immune cell function assays, T cell activation assays, cytotoxicity, MLR, and co-culture assays.)
