Job Description:
Downeast Cider:Downeast Cider is the #1 hard cider brand in New
Englandand #2 hard cider in the country. Our first batches of
unfiltered cider were fermented in the dorms of Bates College,
Maine. We're now a team of 100, with new roles opening across all
departments.We produce, package, and ship our products at the cider
house in East Boston, which is also the location of our office,
taproom, and seasonal outdoor bar.Suits need not
apply.Responsibilities:
Perform brite tank and fermentation
vessel CIPsYeast rehydration and pitchingDeaerate and force
carbonate finished productSanitary transfer of liquid
ingredientsThis shift is 4pm - 12pm Mon-FriQualifications:Must have
Strong work ethicAbility to work at a
fast pace on your feetFlexible schedule to work second shiftAbility
to lift 50lb bags and hoses regularlyNice to have
Previous cellar experience strongly
preferredKnowledge of pasteurization/heat exchangeknowledge of
brewing/vitner chemistry procedures (TA and sulfite titration, cell
counts)Proficiency in google sheetsThe hours of this role are 4pm -
