QUALIFICATIONSTrack record of successfully applying machine learning models in practice and at scaleAdvanced experience coding with Python (preferable, experience with Pandas preferred) and R for machine learningExperience with big data visualization and BIExperience with large datasets (> 1 GB) with missing and noisy data in transportation/logistics or similar industryExperience with time-series alignment from heterogeneous data setsWorking knowledge of different machine learning algorithmsAbility to integrate open-source machine learning and proprietary algorithms with existing data workflowsBe interested in learning and applying new big data toolsets and frameworks.Well-versed in advanced probability and statistics
BS or MS in a computer science-related field.Excellent communication and leadership skillsFamiliarity with basic principles of distributed computing and/or distributed databasesProficiency in statistical analysis, quantitative analytics, forecasting/predictive analytics, multivariate testing, and optimization algorithmsSolid knowledge of statistical techniquesThe ability to come up with solutions to loosely defined business problems by leveraging pattern detection over potentially large datasets.3+ years of intensive quantitative and qualitative research and analytics experienceOverall passion and curiosity for technology, ability to research new technologies
