Position Overview: Brown Rudnick is seeking a Content Specialist in
the Firm's Boston, New York, or Washington, DC office. This
position will primarily involve developing, writing and editing
high-quality content for the Firm's internal and external
platforms, including newsletters, social media and website. The
Specialist will also work with Business Development and Marketing
Operations to produce standardized content to be used in RFPs and
pitches as requested by the CMO. The Specialist will be tasked with
identifying the proper tone and style while ensuring compliance
with the Firm's brand and messaging. The ideal candidate will have
exceptional writing, reporting and research abilities, outstanding
attention to detail, and interest and experience in covering legal
issues. The candidate will be a team player, excellent communicator
and creative individual with a detail-oriented approach, strong
project management skills, and the ability to manage tight
deadlines. The ideal candidate will also be able to thrive in a
fast-paced, high-pressure environment and demonstrate a high level
of professionalism when interacting with both internal and external
parties. The successful candidate will be part of a highly
collaborative and results-oriented team. This role includes

Primary Responsibilities: --- Write case descriptions, deal
announcements, event previews, article summaries and other Firm
news for internal and external platforms.--- Follow and report on
developments in various Firm matters.--- Proactively identify
matters and results ready for and worthy of publication.---
Interview lawyers for Q&As, feature profiles, practice
spotlights and other promotional materials.--- In collaboration
with the BD team, assist on pitch, proposal and RFP response
drafting.--- Assist on drafting award and ranking nominations.---
Assist on producing data analytics reports.--- Assist on drafting
and editing lawyer bios and practice descriptions.--- Maintain
consistent voice, style and tone across all platforms and marketing
materials.--- Copy edit and proofread content.
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree, preferably in English,
Journalism, Marketing, Business or Communications.--- Strong
writing, editing, proofreading and research skills with a practical
knowledge of AP style (a writing and editing test is required).---
Capacity to work comfortably in a rapidly changing environment on
multiple, ongoing projects.--- Ability to translate complex legal
concepts into compelling, digestible content.--- Ability to work
independently and with other members of the team.--- Commitment to
client service and quality.--- Proficiency with Microsoft
Office.--- 5+ years of writing experience, preferably in a law firm
or in the legal industry.
