About the Salesforce Practice Team Lead PositionThis is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing practice areas within Verndale. You will have the opportunity to shape the team and structure to optimize results and will havea significant impact on the long-term direction of the practice. The Practice Team Lead will oversee and support a group of Solution Consultants, Engineers and Project Managers to ensure clients' success and drive profitable growth for the entire practice. This role will report directly to our Chief Client Officer and is responsible for working with team members to define our process methodology, working with managers to define plans for hiring and training of staff, identifying market opportunities and work closely with our account management team to deliver value across the client portfolio.Primary Duties:Estimates on time break down

  • 50% - Team Management (Delivery Process, Resource Planning, Oversight, Executive Reporting)
    • 25% - Engagement Management (Conflict Resolution/Escalation, Prioritization)
    • 25% - Sales/Account Collaboration (Pre-Sales, Service Line Expansion, Delivery Alignment)Responsibilities:
      • Work with team members to standardize project delivery methodology, services and deliverables.
      • Align with PMOon delivery execution model, collaborate closely to ensure adherence to standards and successful client outcomes.
      • Understand key performance metrics for the team and the levers that drive those metrics. Report regularly to Executive Team on progress.
      • Create a program to drive hiring and training to support the growth of the practice.
      • Work with PMOto understand resource needs and skillsets required to execute sold and upcoming engagements.
      • Empower and encourage the team to focus on delivering value
      • Participate in the project scoping process (when appropriate) to support new business and account teams with estimates and producing effective statements of work.
      • Review CSAT results and work closely with team members and account management to deliver successful engagements and identify additional opportunities.
      • Act to resolve issues that prevent the team from working or communicating effectively.
      • Participate in leadership conversations to provide insights on market trends and how they impact clients.
      • Stay educated on new and emerging Salesforce related market offerings that may be of interest to our clients.Qualifications
        • Must possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent
        • Minimum of 10 years of experience implementing solutions on the Salesforce platform (Salesforce certifications an advantage)
        • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading teams in an agency or consulting environment
        • Experience leading cross-functional teams that have delivered measurable positive outcomes for customers
        • Pre-sales experience partnering with sales organizations to help shape and close deals
          • Implementation/Delivery experience in delivering projects on-time and on-budget while maintaining an exceptional customer experience
          • High-energy, team-first attitude: motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to help our growing business
          • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
          • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
          • Ability to manage cross-functional resources without direct reporting relationships
            • Ability to implement creative solutions while working under pressure
            • Ability to work on multiple projects and assignments concurrently
            • Ability to clearly communicate and resolve issues with a wide variety of people and demands
            • Must be able to identify and mitigate risks
