Job Description:

Under the direction of the supervisor, the Doxy Operator sets up and operates all equipment associated with the product of LX powders, including all the powder preparation equipment. The incumbent may be required to operator any plant equipment that supports the manufacture of Ta and Niobium products.*You will have the opportunity to: ** Set up and operate Jaw crushers, Tornado/Pin Mills and all blending equipment, to support the production of Tantalum powder, the Doxy Furnace, Leach Barrels and the chemical addition equipment for LX powders, Air Dryers, Screeners and Dry Magnet in the production of LX powders, Agglomeration furnaces, vacuum packaging equipment.* Perform troubleshooting and routine preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment.* Performs sampling as needed.* Enter material movements in SAP, completes all associated quality control paperwork and lot traceability paperwork to assure product is clearly tested and identified.* Cross train in other areas as time permits.*QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS** Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED)* Vocational degree or four years of industrial experience.* Confined space entry certification, lockout/tagout certification and fork truck license preferred.*4th shift: * Thursday & Friday 7am-3pm and Saturday and Sunday 7am-7pm (10% shift differential)Job Type: Full-timePay: From $22.50 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Parental leave* Professional development assistance* Referral program* Retirement plan* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 12 hour shift* Weekend availabilitySupplemental pay types:* Bonus pay* Signing bonusAbility to commute/relocate:* Newton Highlands, MA 02461: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:* High school or equivalent (Required)Work Location: One location
