Position OverviewProvides support to end users on a variety of
issues including identifying, researching, and resolving technical
problems, responding to telephone calls, emails, and personnel
requests for technical support, and documents, tracks, and monitors
problems to ensure a timely resolution. Must be familiar with a
variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on
experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree
of creativity and latitude is expected.Primary Responsibilities
Ensures that consistent practices are used throughout the company
to maintain the integrity of the systems.Will support primarily the
Boston office but will also help support our remote users.Will be
responsible for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support.Provide day-to-day user
support including desktops/laptops, servers, phones, printers, and
system securityMaintain help desk queue.Includes the setup and
configuration of wireless devices such as cell phones.Assists users
with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.) related
questions which can range from basic to advanced questions.Ensures
helpdesk documentation and knowledge bases are up to date and
correct.Maintains hardware and software inventory.Assess end-user
needs and recommends system or software tools that can be used to
fulfill these needsProvide ongoing system-related training for new
and current employees.Coordinates installation of new
hardware/software and monitors the operation of computer hardware
and software.Evaluates and resolve user problems.Responsible for
helping maintain local IP phone systems.May perform other duties as
required.Requirements: ExperienceStrong experience in Microsoft
Operating Systems, Active Directory, MS Office Office365, and
Outlook/Exchange Systems administration and integration of servers,
switches, routers, and desktopsExperience with administering mobile
and IP phones.Scripting experience a plusMust be able to work a
flexible schedule as requiredQualifications: Associates Degree or
equivalent industry experience in an IT Food and beverage industry
experience a plus.1-3 years of experience in the field or in a
related area.Demonstrated expertise in a variety of the field's
concepts, practices, and procedures. Good listening, communication,
and interpersonal skillsGood problem-solving and decision-making
abilityMust be willing to be flexible in work hours to get projects
or maintenance doneAbility to coach and train a workforce with
