Description:
Position Overview:
Provides administrative support to assigned Financial Advisor(s) to
deliver superior customer service and maintain accurate customer
records. Complete processing for new investment accounts,
redemptions, beneficiary changes, and other necessary account
maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities:
Performs any functions necessary, within scope of authority and
expertise, to provide the highest level of service and
responsiveness to customers:
Provide customer service to existing and new customers in support
of an assigned Financial Advisor. Work to build customer
relationships and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
through one on one communications by phone, in person and by
e-mail.
Respond to incoming customer inquiries by phone and /or e-mail
Maintain the calendar of assigned Financial Advisor including
scheduling client meetings
Accurately input client data into investment systems, following
established procedures to ensure exceptions are minimized.
Correspond with clients to complete new accounts, asset transfers,
and other forms
Handle routine matters for client accounts, including processing
name and address changes, account applications and bank
authorizations, answering client questions via telephone and face
to face
Maintain client records and update contact history as
appropriate
Track referrals from bank business partners to the assigned
Financial Advisor(s) from start to finish. Provide referring
employees with status updates regarding the sales process.
Provide general administrative support to the Financial Advisor(s)
as needed.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform related and unrelated duties as may be required.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree and three to five years related experience, or
an equivalent combination of education and professional
experience.
Prior experience in a brokerage or investment environment providing
administrative support and/or customer service.
Series 6 or 7 License preferred but not required
Excellent oral and written communications, organizational and
analytical skills.
Customer focus and a proven track record of working collaboratively
with internal and external customers.
Ability to prioritize tasks within defined responsibilities and
apply bank and department policies and procedures.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and
Access), CRM systems (Salesforce), and other business software
platforms.
