is currently looking for a new addition to our team as a Hybrid
Full-Time Strategic Account Executive in Boston, Massachusetts.The
Strategic Account Executive is responsible for account planning,
prospecting strategy, and executing the sales process into named
and strategic accounts. The target accounts and primary verticals
aligned with our high-value courier strategy include Life Sciences,
Radiopharmaceuticals and Specialty Healthcare focused drug
manufacturers, distributors, and specialized clinics. Successful
Account Executives will also be optimizing daily activities/time
management, pipeline acceleration, and customer adoption. Your
responsibility to expand our customer base with marquee customers
in our core verticals makes this a vital role within AC and a great
opportunity to contribute and shine.Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key member of the sales team that drives the primary
customer-facing activities for an expanding base of customers
aligned with the core direction and strategy of AC
- Successfully achieve sales goals through identifying and
onboarding new customers
- Identify and source contact information on key decision makers
and influencers from assigned and approved strategic accounts
- Follow-up immediately on all marketing qualified leads
- Research the unique aspects of the prospect that align with
AC's value proposition and design / customize an account plan and
outreach strategy
- Schedule appointments (calls, virtual, F2F) to gain an in-depth
understanding of the opportunity and unique challenges they
face
- Effectively qualify all prospects to ensure mutual alignment
and future success with AC operational capabilities
- Accelerate the qualification process to focus on high-return
prospects
- Prioritize and execute prospecting and pipeline development,
along with active opportunities, and the launch of new customers
for revenue achievement
- Successfully communicate and work with operations to develop
comprehensive solutions that meet and exceed the client's
expectations
- Assist with proposal development and identifying key
performance metrics
- Manage complex contract negotiation and work with operations
and legal counsel as required
- Collaborate and support marketing and sales admin functions
with input on collateral, sales tools, training, prospect messaging
and templates to ensure materials are accurate, current, and
compelling
- Support marketing events and functions for brand awareness,
demand creation and industry networking (i.e., trade shows,
webinars, roundtables, etc.)
- Other responsibilities as directed by managementRequirements:
- 5+ years of direct sales experience or healthcare industry
experience required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Valid Driver's License with no more than 2 moving violations or
at-fault accidents in the last 3 years
- Flexibility to travel up to 30%
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional track record of success against sales objectives;
consistently met or exceeded planned objectives
- Adept at working as a team player
- Comfortable and credible selling to large company executives of
various disciplines in addition to internal communication,
presentations and high-pressure questions from executive
leadership, peers, and customers.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, CRM, and sales
enablement tools
- Proven analytical and problem-solving
