Job Description:
EHS coordinator duties and responsibilities
--- Arrive to work on time
--- Be proactive in improving the safety culture, including
communication with the PSR safety team
--- Be proactive in meeting deadlines and completing
responsibilities in a timely manner
--- Communicate with HR and VP Operations when arriving late, time
off request, or PTO needed
--- Attend daily NASR production meeting and customer meetings.
--- Daily, weekly, monthly compliance Inspections for Title V
operating permit. Maintain all required daily, monthly & yearly
documentation.
--- Conduct training for employees and subcontractors to ensure
compliance with all safety & environmental regulations, permitted
conditions and corporate policies.
--- Maintain all environmental records, assist with completing
monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual regulatory report,
while corresponding with environmental engineers.
--- Routinely conduct internal environmental audits of facilities
and operations to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory
requirements.
--- Perform daily environmental compliance walks on vessels with
customer and/or Government representatives. Facilitate corrective
action as needed.
--- Conduct weekly internal safety/environmental inspections of the
vessel and facility, submit the report to management and trades for
review and corrective actions,
--- Conduct industrial hygiene & environmental monitoring,
sampling, measurements, and assessments (chemical, physical,
biological, health stressors, etc.) as needed.
--- Monitor operations performed by sub-contractors and vendors for
compliance with established environmental regulatory
requirements.
--- Manage the Hazardous waste in the facility identifying proper
waste streams and, scheduling disposal.
--- Assist in the research and assimilation of all relevant
environmental information for the purpose of modifying, updating,
and clarifying company environmental policies, procedures, and
programs.
--- Assist in the evaluation of all new environmental related
materials, equipment, and consumable products prior to release for
company use.
--- Conduct investigations into accidents, incidents, and property
damage for identification of root cause and corrective action to
prevent recurrence.
--- Prepare and present audit and inspection reports for management
review.
--- Assist Safety/Environmental Manager as needed, to ensure
corporate compliance with all local, state and federal regulatory
requirements or permitted condition
--- Perform other duties as assigned by Safety /Environmental
Manager
--- Prepare and submit monthly flash report
--- Prepare and input paint records into tracking program
--- Prepare and maintain all employee training records, including
all Massachusetts state licensing requirements
--- Maintain a comprehensive log of all workers compensation
related injuries, medical only and lost time
--- Oversee the monthly updating of the loss control summary
