Description:Dav-Tech Plating Inc. is the premiere metal plating company in the U.S. specializing in coatings for products used in the defense, medical, automotive and electronics industries. We are looking for a General Industrial Worker who is a team player and can complete various tasks around the shop. This is a full-time position with benefits including, health insurance, 401K, paid time off, dental, life insurance, and competitive pay based on experience. Overtime is also available when authorized by management. The Metal Plating Line Operator's focus is to follow the work instructions on the Work Traveler for each part being processed. The Line Operator must understand and know the process needed to complete the task safely and accurately. Each task must be completed accurately and in a timely manner in order to reach Dav-Tech's quality objectives.Requirements:Job Duties:

• Plate steel or aluminum part(s).
• Operate overhead crane.
• Visually inspect part and racking technique prior to processing.
• Set controls to maintain specified temperature of bath.
• Determine length of time part remains in bath to reach desired plating thickness.
• Perform in process inspections.
• Complete final inspection after processing.
• Document findings and processing record on Work Traveler.
• Ensure work gets done safely and efficiently.Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Able to read and understand English
  • Ability to operate overhead crane
  • Lift and carry 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to use micrometer
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to train and learn new tasks
  • Plating Experience a Plus.
