Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking a Head of Operations for our site based in Marlborough, MA. In this key role you will be responsible for overall site production operations and for creating a work environment which promotes safety, quality, delivery, cost efficiency and continuous improvement. The incumbent will oversee and be accountable for all aspects of the site's operations performance Job Description:

• Coordinate directly (and through delegation), activities required to assure safety, quality, delivery and cost effectiveness to achieve company objectives
• Ensure compliance with behavior based safety initiatives, and continuously enhancing safety performance
• Execute on quality control plans for compliance to standards, and drive variation reduction within the process
• Drive on-time delivery performance and develop actions to improve and sustain a high level of performance
• Optimize cost by effective management of labor, overtime and other expenditures
• Review and analyze production, quality and delivery reports to determine root causes of variance from budget and standards, and develop corrective actions
• Direct the efforts of plant supervision to ensure the consistent application of human resources policies, procedures, and plant rules
• Manage, coach and mentor team members to assure their ongoing development
• Evaluate new trends and developments in methods, techniques, equipment, tools, materials and supplies, which might be incorporated into the production, quality or supply chain processes, to increase efficiency or better use of resources
• Participate in special projects and as a member of the operations network
• Foster excellent working relationships with customer (audits) and with all the other stakeholders of the company
