customers.Job Summary:The System Design & Architecture (SD&A)
Directorate is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration
activities within RMD, responsible for defining customer needs,
functional and product architecture, requirements definition and
decomposition, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), system
performance, and System Security Engineering (SSE).The Early
Warning and Defense Operations Systems (EWDOS) Department is
seeking talented Senior Systems Engineers to join a team of
engineers that designs and develops world-class Sensor and Weapon
systems in our Tewksbury and/or Woburn, MA, locations.We value

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Algorithm development, such as search, track, and
discrimination
- Development of concepts of operations for radar systems
- Trade study assessment, and analysis of sensor signal and radar
processing
- Radar software requirements development
- Statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance
data
- Analysis tool development in support of problem identification
and resolution
- Collaboration with Systems and Software Engineers to develop
and implement solutions
- Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or
Customers
- Using MATLAB regularly to conduct data analysesQualifications
You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology,
Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 10 years of prior relevant
experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 7 years of
prior relevant experience. In absence of a degree, 14 years of
relevant experience is required.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for
a security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
- Experience with system/software level requirements development,
documentation and maintenance and/or design of system level
software architecture
- Proven experience with current air defense programs with
specific experience in large, complex systems
- Understanding of defense design / planning process
- Experience with radar system concepts; detection,
discrimination, track and signal processing algorithms and their
behaviors and performance
- Knowledge of Electronic Warfare/Electronic Attack/Electronic
Protection Techniques
- Phased Array and Digital Beamforming Technology
- Target and Threat Modeling
- Integration and test of large systems
- Excellent communication, technical writing, oral presentation,
and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to interface with customers and lead technical
solutions to complex User requirements
- Knowledge in MATLAB/Python/C/C++/Java and/or DOORS tools
- Experience with Agile and DevOps
- Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) Development
- An active and in-scope Secret US Security ClearanceWhat We
