Through Digital Transformation (DTx), you will perform these functions using a variety of methods and enabling technologies, including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Agile product development.SD&A is an exciting and challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to design, develop and partner with multi-disciplines to shape innovative solutions for our customers. If you're passionate about what you could accomplish here, we'd love to hear from you.Responsibilities to Anticipate:You will be working as part of a team to define system requirements, design architectures and algorithms in support of those requirements and collaborate with software development teams to ensure effective implementation. Some specific responsibilities include:

• Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and design
• Concept and requirements development, including decomposition and flowdown
• Algorithm development and optimization applying search, track, and discrimination
• Functional analysis of real world & test data; trade studies to bring advanced features to fielded system
• Understanding the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Collaboration with Hardware, Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions
• System integration and test support to other engineering functions, including live fire test events
• Collaboration with customer to bring new capabilities to the warfighter
• Collaborate with team on identifying risks and opportunitiesQualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3 years of prior relevant experience. In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience in requirements development
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanceQualifications We Value:
    • Advanced degree in EE, CE, Physics, Math, ME, Aerospace
    • Knowledge of radar systems (for example - Patriot System)
    • Experience with design of system level architecture
    • Experience with DoD radar, battle management, or missile design and development programs
    • Experience/interest in aerodynamics, guidance/navigation/control systems, and Kalman filters
    • Experience with 3-DOF/6-DOF modeling and simulation
    • Experience with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
    • Experience with Agile and DevOps
    • Proven ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues
    • Familiarity with Matlab, DOORS, MS Office
    • Existing DoD Security Clearance
