The information listed below is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate the update and maintenance of the Site Inventory Organization (IO) ensuring that Item set-up, Sales BOM Routings, and product structures are completed in support of manufacturing requirements, customer delivery expectations. This is accomplished by performing the following tasks:* Description for Internal Candidates

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensure there are no customer sales orders on hold (missing structure hold report) that are due for next 90 days using customer request date.
  • Ensure bill of material accuracy to reduce structure errors and to maintain delivery to customer.
  • Manage the advanced product catalog workflow notification routings.
  • Coordinate timely resolution of issues related to bill of materials & structures to meet customer requirements.
  • Update the Item master file.
  • Coordinate and work closely with the engineers.
  • Review and update daily reports and complete the required maintenance within Oracle.
  • Review missing product structure Report and coordinate the set-up of Items, EMs, CSP Modules, and OE Modules in the site inventory organization.
  • Review and release the Missing Product Structure Holds on Sales Order Lines, as necessary.
  • Coordinate to review CSP sales order lines and CSP Documentation for accuracy.
  • Responsible for determining the appropriate assignment of customer specifications to include discrete jobs, purchase orders and ensure site additional specification set-ups are accurate.
  • Communicate additional specifications with Manufacturing as necessary.
  • Responsible for maintaining operation resources, departments, and sales of bill of material routings in the site inventory organization.Education / Experience Required:
    • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years related experience or equivalent manufacturing or Emerson experience.
    • Understanding of parts processing requirements (material specifications, additional specifications, and additional requirements) and the ability to read blueprints.
    • Working knowledge of product types and manufacturing/assembly environment. Understanding of Oracle, MRP and change management procedures.
    • Familiarity with using Microsoft Excel, Access, Word.
