Our SPE team consists of more than 2200 software engineers with a central focus on real-time software development, integration, testing, and validation activities. This is how we do our part in keeping our country safe.We are seeking a Software Integration Engineer to join our Dual Band Radar Software Integration Team located in Tewksbury, MA. We integrate software developed in C++, C, and Java. Candidates can expect to work on many if not all the phases of the software development life cycle. In this position, you will be responsible for providing practical solutions to difficult technical software problems. Tasks include device driver development, application software development, test and verification, data analysis and software tools development. If you're passionate about what you could accomplish here, we'd love to hear from youResponsibilities to Anticipate:+ Productivity in a collaborative team setting working with engineers of all levels+ Ability to debug and correct stability issues in our software baseline+ Support and improvement of our DevSecOps pipeline+ Maintenance and enhancement of tooling infrastructure+ Perform integration and testing of device drivers, application software, and tools that run on the AIX/UNIX operating system.+ Opportunity to travel to First In Class US Navy ship platforms to perform software installs, provide radar operation support, data analysis, and address any emergent issuesQualifications You Must Have:+ Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of relevant work experience OR in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required. An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for additional years of experience.+ Experience with any of the C, C++, or Java software languages+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
