*****We are offering a $500 sign on bonus for this position*****The Home Assistance Programs offer daily assistance with the physical and social needs of elders and disabled adults living in designated housing units. -For persons at risk of institutionalization, the Home Assistance Programs (HAP) provide important community living options that recognize and preserve the independence and good health of persons requiring supervision. -Care is provided by Certified Nursing Assistants and other professionally trained Direct Care Aides. -

Our Home Assistance Program is currently looking for part-time Direct Care Aides in the Norwood area up 28 -plus -hours per week. - Hours available seven days per week up to 28 -hours per week. -We offer an hourly rate increase for weekend and holiday shifts. -Direct Care Aides -monitor the placement status in the home and provides assistance with participant's daily living needs as directed by a plan of care ensuring that personal care services are provided on a daily basis.Duties may include:

• Cleaning
• General housekeeping
• Assist with shopping
• Provide on-going supervision of the participant's health related activities.Education and Requirements:
  • The ideal applicant must have successfully completed a Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.) and/or Home Health Aide -(H.H.A.) training program and possess a certificate of course completion and/or a valid license. - Equivalent training or experience could be substituted for certification/licensure.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Previous home care experience and working with behavioral health members is preferred.
  • Reliable transportation is required.All employees must successfully pass a CORI/CPS background check. - -Bi-lingual English/Spanish speaking applicants are encouraged to apply. - -
