Something you can be proud of whilst enjoying the benefits of working in the Public Sector?The British Library has a rare opportunity for an Application Specialist in our Ingest and Preservation team, based in Boston Spa (Wetherby), or St Pancras (London), (hybrid working pattern).f you work for us, you will be helping to support and develop British Library services and more, as well as getting involved with many exciting new projects.We will take care of you with:-25 days annual leave, plus 2.5 privilege days (plus Bank Holidays on top!)Employers Pension Contribution of 26.6% - 30.3%Access to training courses to continue your professional developmentAbout you;Experience of supporting, configuring and monitoring of third party/packaged or bespoke applicationsExperience of operational acceptance testing and deploying changes to production systems using appropriate controlsExcellent communicator and demonstrable ability to work as part of a team to agreed customer service levels and SLAsProven problem solving skills using a logical and considered approachProven systems analysis and documentation skillsExperience of data migration and file managementExperience of supporting applications in a windows environmentKnowledge and experience of SQL database querying
