WHAT YOU''LL DO As a Data Research and Services Public Sector Co-op with our Data and Research Services (DRS) team, you will contribute to BCG''s client work and knowledge base by conducting business-focused secondary research across a variety of industries in a timely and accurate manner along with clearly packaging, articulating and delivering findings. You will conduct research across all of BCGs industrial practice areas, with a significant focus towards research supporting our Public Sector case teams.While much of the role will be focused on conducting secondary research and helping case teams navigate BCG resources, you will also assist the DRS as needed in other areas including Bloomberg terminal coverage and searches of existing BCG materials. YOU''RE GOOD AT The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated passion for research; a deep interest in learning more about a variety of industries and topics; excellent communication skills; and skill in evaluating data sources and in gathering, synthesizing, and packaging research into accurate and timely output. YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) * Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in Northeastern University and approved by the university to participate in the January to June 2024 co-op cycle* Must be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the minimum duration of the co-op cycle (January-June) and be flexible to accommodate meetings in different time zones* Must be authorized to work in the United States and Must be physically located in the U.S. during Co-op* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management and project management skills* Major in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field* Strong attention to detail, analytical mind-set, ability to prioritize and multi-task YOU''LL WORK WITH The culture of DRS can be described as customer-focused, results driven with passion for research at its core.
