WHAT YOU''LL DO BCG X supports case teams in managing and realizing insight and opportunity from the increasing analytical intensity of our clients'' problems.You, along with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Scientific Modelers and Scientific Programmers, are the core of the Analytics Solutions service.You will work closely with consultants and case teams to provide both consultation on analytics subject matter expertise and hands-on support to case teams, focusing on GeoAnalytics, advanced analytics tools, modeling, and visualization, and custom-developed client-facing analytics deliverables. You will gain insight into how geospatial analysis can be leveraged to answer business problems across industries. YOU''RE GOOD AT * Helping toexplore spatial data and build the geospatial data library for GeoAnalytics * Creating dynamic interactive maps * Conducting geospatial R&D for client projects * Providing analytical support for GeoAnalytics projects YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) * An education background in geospatial analytical fields such as Urban Planning Analytics, Geography, Remote Sensing, GIS, Computer Science or related fields * Course work in Geographic Information Systems * Experience with data management, data cleaning, and research using spatial datasets (e.g. vector and raster) * Experience/proficiency with database programming languages such as SQL, R or Python is a plus * The ability to work in fast paced environment * A detail oriented, critical thinker who enjoys problem solving * Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in the Northeastern University Co-op Program* Eligibility for the co-op program of your current college/university''s academic department and you must be approved by the college/university to participate in the co-op program * The flexibility to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the minimum duration of the co-op cycle * Authorization to work in the United States BCGs marketing team drives the firms reputation as a thought leader.
