• Independently plans assignments for a research work group or project, troubleshoots complex problems specialized procedures, and change experimental design if necessary.
• Develops and validates new methods to support completion of complex assignments within a project
• Exercises independent judgement (selecting most appropriate methods, coordinating efforts, evaluating criteria for obtaining results)
• Utilizes technical literature to implement novel procedures, changes and improvements within a project. Can duplicate and appropriately modify experimental procedures based on the literature.
• Interprets and analyzes data, helping to incorporate results into overall scientific projects; Independently generates novel hypothesis
• Maintains a proactive and vocal approach to improving departmental efficiency;
• Able to summarize and present literature data within department and occasionally to broader audiences
• Cell culture, including isolation and analysis of primary immune cell subsets
• Flow cytometry, multiplexed protein analysis
• Molecular biology techniques, including qPCR and high-dimensional quantitative gene expression analysis EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: -
  • MS in a scientific discipline (or equivalent) with - 3+ years relevant industry experience. or
  • BS in a scientific discipline with 5+ years experience, or
  • Associates degree in scientific discipline with 7+ years relevant industry experience
  • Experience with Cell culture, including isolation and analysis of primary immune cell subsets
  • Experience with Flow cytometry, multiplexed protein analysis
  • Experience with Molecular biology techniques, including qPCR and high-dimensional quantitative gene expression analysisTakeda Compensation and Benefits SummaryWe understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.---The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. -U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives.
