Position Summary:We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented
Instructional Designer to join our Learning & Development team.
This role will be pivotal in designing and developing high-quality
eLearning modules, enhancing technical training delivery, and
creating comprehensive training programs for both technical and
non-technical skills. The ideal candidate will regularly
collaborate with subject matter experts from all business units of
the organization and will be instrumental in a newly formed
strategic initiative to improve quality metrics through targeted
training interventions. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop
engaging eLearning modules using Articulate and other eLearning
authoring tools. Create training content, incorporating multimedia
elements to enhance learning experiences. Develop quizzes and
interactive elements to ensure understanding and retention. Work
closely with internal SMEs to identify training needs and create
relevant content. Conduct train-the-trainer sessions to enhance
SMEs' ability to develop and deliver technical training
effectively. Develop both technical and non-technical (soft skills)
workshops and training programs. Leverage existing source content
and create new materials to address identified training needs.
Ensure all training materials adhere to adult learning principles
and instructional design best practices. Collaborate closely with
HSE and Quality professionals to address and mitigate historical
and current safety and quality issues through targeted training
solutions. Upload and manage eLearning modules on the company's
Learning Management System (LMS). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree
in Instructional Design, Education, Training and Development, or a
related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional
design and eLearning development. Experience working with
Articulate and other eLearning authoring tools. Proven experience
in developing technical and non-technical training programs. Strong
knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
methodologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills,
with the ability to work effectively with technical subject matter
experts and other stakeholders. Proficiency in creating multimedia
content, including video editing and graphic design. Ability to
manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in the heavy civil construction or engineering industry
preferred.Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and
related learning technologies preferred. Certification in
instructional design or related areas preferred.We offer our
