Responsibilities:

--- Utilize our software for notes, generating quotes, and invoicing
--- Arrive at appointments within the window provided to the client
--- Take part in all workplace functions, and follow all policies and procedures
--- Ensure that measurements and locations for openings are correct on larger jobs
--- Perform a thorough inspection and accurate diagnosis of any problems with the existing system, then present the customer with their available options
--- ---Installation and Maintenance: Efficiently install, maintain, and repair residential garage doors and openers.
--- Quality Assurance: Ensure all installations and repairs meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
--- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client needs and queries promptly and professionally.
--- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues with garage doors and openers.
--- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and protocols during work operations.
--- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

--- Must be able to use a measuring tape along with math and problem-solving skills
--- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate
--- Able to work with either power tools or hand tools
To be a successful candidate for the Experienced Garage Door Technician position at Shamrock Overhead Door, applicants must meet the following requirements:
--- Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the residential garage door industry. (If Not, We will train you as a First Year Apprentice)
--- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of garage doors and garage door openers.
--- Leadership Potential: A desire and capability to grow into a leadership role within the industry.
--- Customer Service Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
--- Problem-Solving Abilities: Aptitude for diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently and effectively.
--- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various physical positions.
--- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as the role may require traveling to different job sites.
--- Safety Compliance: Knowledge of and adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.
--- Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
