Job Description:

Research Technician II Assignment: 1 year with potential to convert Location: Boston ? 100% onsite/in the lab Details:

• BS in Biology and 2-4 years of related experience in the contract research, academic, or pharmaceutical industry
• In Vivo ? rodents only (mice, rats) no large animals experience required
• Dosing and automation experience would be great
• Candidate who can work in a small team and independently ? team is willing to train as well
• Primarily PK work with ADME and some method development work Temporary Research Technician II Responsibilities:
  • Excellent hands-on in-vivo skills, including but not limited to animal handling, drug administration by multiple routes (PO, IV, SC, IP) and the collection of biospecimen samples (whole blood, tissues) preferred
  • Careful attention to detail and the accurate, organized and timely documentation of study data
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking abilities enabling the planning and execution of studies
  • Awareness and adherence to IACUC protocols and associated regulations and guidelines involved in animal-based research
  • Primarily PK work with ADME and some method development work
  • Proficiency in the use of standard software including Microsoft -- Excel and Word Education:
    • Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent in Biology or closely related scientific discipline. Experience:
      • Minimum of 2-4 related experience in the contract research, academic, or pharmaceutical industry.
      • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
