Job DescriptionSenior Reporting and Data AnalystUSA-BostonThe Global People team is responsible for the delivery of HR activities and services. We seek to provide a seamless and positive employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle to ensure employees feel heard and have the resources and support they need during the most important moments during their careers. -We will work to deliver outstanding employee experiences and seek to improve lifecycle processes in an effective and efficient manner.PTC is seeking an experienced Senior Reporting & Data Analyst to add to our Global People team. -As a Senior Reporting & Data Analyst, you will play an essential role in supporting our data-driven decision-making culture with advanced workforce analyses and actionable insights, thereby driving meaningful change and enhancing the employee experience at PTC. -You have an excellent analytic skill set and a keen interest in how people performance drives a business. You will be focused on human capital reporting and analytics, providing strategic talent insights through the use and development of workforce metrics, dashboards and reports. -The Senior Reporting & Data Analyst will create and design dashboards and scorecards and will help to develop workforce models to provide guidance on strategic, organizational and workforce planning activities. -Helping to foster a culture of self-service reporting across all functions and business units, you'll be a key point of contact on the People Talent Insights team as we design and produce standard and ad hoc reports. -Day-To-Day:Apply your technical expertise to help solve, inform, influence support and execute our workforce decisions across all segments of the employee lifecycleCollaborate with stakeholders from all levels and functions to identify appropriate metrics and reporting visualizations to enable statistical story-tellingCreate and iterate on ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and models to empower operational and exploratory analysisUse tools and programming languages like R, Python, SQL, Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, Workday and Visier to work efficiently at scaleBenchmark key measures against industry, region and "best in class" peers and apply best practice research to identify links between human capital and business performance -Provide support in the creation of QBRs for People programs and initiatives to be presented to Business LeadersPreferred Skills and Knowledge:Ability to develop high-quality data products (catered to the audience) that tell stories and inspire actionExpertise in data analysis/visualization tools and techniquesAbility to collaborate effectively with other People team membersExceptional judgement and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive workforce dataStrong initiative and attention to detailProficient with quantitative and qualitative research methodsExcellent critical thinking and analytical skills with ability to deliver solutions in a timely fashionAdept at integrating disparate information and understanding data trendsAbility to analyze, problem solve and clearly communicate observations and recommendationsPreferred Experience:BA/BSc in a field that emphasizes data analysis and visualization such as computer science, social or physical sciences, math engineering or statistics, or equivalent work experience2+ years of relevant analytics experience focused on delivering data-driven insightExperience in collaborating on projects multiple teams, managing relationships with clients, and presenting to different levels of stakeholdersFamiliarity with a variety of statistical (e.g. Python, R) and visualization (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Workday, Visier) tools and techniques (e.g. regression analysis, segmentation)Experience with workforce analysis is a plusAbout PTC (NASDAQ: PTC)PTC enables global manufacturers to realize double-digit impact with software solutions that enable them to accelerate product and service innovation, improve operational efficiency, and increase workforce productivity.
