Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Lab Services Management, responsible for overseeing departmental operations. These operations include but are not limited to research supplies inventory management, loading dock, mailroom, research sample shipping, glassware washing, laboratory cleaning, waste stream management, relocation of laboratory equipment and furniture, media and buffer preparation, and inventory management. Assists upper Management in development and implementation of strategic initiatives and compliance of all programs.

  • Deliver superior customer service and delivery of all scope on client site.
  • Manage inventory and delivery of laboratory waste supplies and gasses.
  • Perform laboratory glass washing and autoclave.
  • Handle and deliver incoming packages to recipients.
  • Manage scientific staff's requirements and concerns pertaining to Laboratory Services and acts as primary contact to the research departments.
  • Ensure that there are zero interruptions, disruptions, or losses arising from unscheduled downtime of client services.
  • Initiate work orders for facilities and laboratories.
  • Maintain safe and orderly work areas, performing regular walk-throughs per day.
  • Complete required safety training in regard to corporate, site specific and departmental procedures.
  • Assure that the necessary safety equipment and personal protective equipment is available and utilized.
  • Assist in facilitation of project coordination, move support, and internal work orders scheduling and completion per client specifications.
  • Meet all safety and other compliance requirements in execution of all work.
  • Escalate risks throughout the organization appropriately.Qualifications
    • High School Diploma Required, continued education preferred.
    • Experience in operations or logistics preferably in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or research fields.

    • Ability to multitask and provide flexibility to the client
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
    • Proven ability to work independently and in group settings.
    • Demonstrated analytical ability and attention to detail.
    • Effective use of technology and tools such as SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
    • May be required to have a valid driver's license.
