located in Asia, Europe and the United States. The Manufacturing
Operations in Wilton Connecticut is responsible for the production
of subassemblies for lithography tools as well as purchasing and
logistics. The complete production process of the most advanced
machines takes place within Manufacturing.This position is based in
the EUV Manufacturing Final Assembly and Test group, within the
manufacturing sector in Wilton, Connecticut.This position requires
access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export
Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. - 730, et seq.). Qualified
candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled
technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require
ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to
access controlled technology. Role and responsibilitiesWorking
knowledge of best practices for opto-mechanical design and
testing.Design assembly/alignment tooling and practical experience
in aligning/ testing optical systems.Define and create
Manufacturing procedures and specifications.Introduce new products
into production in an existing "Concurrent Engineering"
environment.Generate and maintain MRP controls of module
production.Evaluate and optimize process flow.Generate technical
work instructions.Support production issues with concise
troubleshooting of the Electro-Mechanical systems and sub
systems.Evaluate and disposition failed parts with proposed
solutions.Review Failure Analysis Reports from suppliers and help
validate the root-cause of the failure.Evaluate and improve Cycle
Time and reduce Labor Hours through continuous process
improvement.Review mechanical drawings to assess manufacturability
of new designs.Create and design production tooling & qualification
tests.Generate mechanical drawings for tooling and parts from CAD
models.Interface with internal and external customers regarding the
build and test of assemblies and final products.Create and direct
equipment calibration, upkeep, and new equipment specification and
procurement for all analytical instruments used in manufacturing.
Education and experience4 year degree required.Bachelor of Science
in an optical discipline preferred. Bachelor of science in
mechanical or manufacturing engineering will be
considered.Knowledge/experience in opto-mechanical assembly
tolerance analysis, including use of Geometric Dimensioning &
Tolerancing (GD&T).Familiarity with epoxy application in
opto-mechanical designs.Knowledge and hands-on experience w/optical
assy/alignment/test equipment/tools.Knowledge in applied
optics/physics and familiarity w/precision mechanics.Understanding
of relationships between opto-mechanical parts and
assemblies.Knowledge of Design of Experiments and Statistical
Methods.Experience with vacuum systems-mechanical aptitude a
plus.Exposure to complicated assembly experience preferred.Two to
Five years (or more experience & Co-op ok) in an Engineering
environment.Working knowledge of Unigraphics, NX, Teamcenter, and
SAP a plus.Experience with interferometry a plus. SkillsWorking at
