Job Description SummaryYou will be responsible for delivering excellence in Commercial Operations through metric development, the analysis of diverse data from various sources, reporting, sales analytics, and supporting sales compensation design. Working closely with sales and cross-functional partners, this role delivers tactical solutions for supporting the achievement of revenue objectives. Activities are focused daily on improving sales performance through better processes, technology, and methodologies. Ideal candidate is someone who has prior experience in data management, analytics, and business report generation within a commercial organization, and has experience working cross-functionally. You will need to develop an expert understanding of key business processes, identify fundamental drives with relationships to outcomes, prioritize data needs and share insights utilizing software and statistical methods throughout the analytic process. You will also manage the analytics solutions portfolio (developing reports, documentation, templates, and training materials).

Our Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business is the number one global supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents used to enhance medical imaging exams. Used throughout all major disease area diagnostic and treatment pathways, PDx products support three patients every second around the world.Job DescriptionResponsibilities

  • Use data to deliver insights to the organization to maximize likelihood of achieving commercial objectives
  • Identify sales trends and create proactive solutions that help management gauge the performance of the business
  • Drive the selection, implementation, and administration of sales productivity, planning, and reporting tools and processes, with special focus on SalesForce.com
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of key commercial metrics
  • Play an integral role in analysis of weekly performance metrics and lead weekly sales operating mechanisms in collaboration with sales directors
  • Lead effort to align new territories and reassign commensurate quotas as the organization scales the sales force
  • Perform forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
  • Work with sales team to monitor performance/forecasts and assist them in understanding variances
  • Make recommendations for operational changes, target specific goals, and refine analysisTechnical/Analytical
    • Analyze data and develop outputs/solutions which will provide actionable insights to sales team and commercial operations
    • Design, build and deploy BI reports/dashboards and data visualizations using data visualization tools
    • Create advanced analysis such as: regression, time-series forecasting, clustering, decision trees, exploratory data analysis methodology, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, optimization, and unstructured data analysis
    • Combine sales data, SalesForce.com data, reimbursement data, and claims data as needed to feed into analysis
    • Perform other job-related duties as assignedBasic Requirements
      • 5+ years in a Commercial/Sales Analyst or similar role
      • Bachelor's degree in data science, finance, statistics, economics, engineering, or related field
      • Demonstrated ability to generate insight from data and communicate findings effectively within a commercial organization
      • Strong (hands-on) knowledge of Excel
      • Qlik Sense experience is highly desired.Desired
        • Hands-on experience in working with SalesForce.com reports and dashboards
        • Ability to perform SalesForce.com administrative functions is a plus
        • Excellent business acumen and a problem-solving aptitude
        • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts information with attention to detail and accuracy
        • Excellent communication skills, ability to present and discuss with technical and non-technical stakeholders
        • Must be able to work cross functionally in a fast paced and changing environment
        • Willingness to learn new tools and functional processes
        • Preferred experience in the healthcare industry (medical devices and diagnostic manufacturers)
