phone, takes messages, answers routine inquiries, schedules
appointments, meetings and keeps manager's calendarResolves routine
issues in absence of manager. Coordinates special projects and
analysis for manager.Maintains budget and/or expense reports. Makes
recommendations on and prepares budget and manager expense
reportsDevelops reports and presentationsCompiles, researches and
tabulates data and may perform some analysisActs as interface with
internal or external customersSorts, open and distributes
mail.Makes travel arrangementsTypes, designs correspondence, memos,
tables or graphsMaintains files for the department**ADDITIONAL
RESPONSIBILITIES**May periodically assist in training and checking
the work of lower level employeesPerforms other duties as
assigned.**EDUCATION**H.S. diploma/GEDBachelor's degree Related
field preferred.**EXPERIENCE**Five (5) years or more experience 3-5
years advanced administrative positions**SKILLS**Performs work
independently with minimal supervision. Work can generally be
completed without established procedures. Must have demonstrated
ability to perform assigned tasks under own initiativeApplies
advanced skills in area of specializationAbility to maintain
confidential information.Ability to create and maintain
professional relationships within all levels of the organization
