Job Description:

A world leader in electro-mechanical and cable assembly manufacturing, in business since 1988, ISO 9001 & 13485 registered, IPC/WHMA-A-620 compliant. This position will report to and support the Corporate Production Manager to oversees all aspects of the day-to-day manufacturing process.

Job Purpose

Supervise ISO-compliant and cost-effective manufacturing of specific products or sub-products

  • Direct Supervision, Coaching, Counseling, and Mentoring all Production employees
  • Supervise ISO-compliant and cost-effective manufacturing of specific products or sub-products
  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedule
  • Responsible for maintaining quality standards by inspecting and testing in-process and finished products to ensure conformance with specifications and codes
  • Develop schedules and manpower requirements for production activities
  • Ensures employee compliance with applicable company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate production activities with Purchasing, Warehouse, Sales, NPI, Tooling, Packing, Shipping for overall efficiency of assembly requirements
  • Manage the Pull Ins/Expedites of Parts to meet production and on time deliveries
  • Compile reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problem
    Skills/Qualifications:
    Supervision, Coaching, Managing Processes, Process Improvement, Tracking Budget Expenses, Production Planning, Controls and Instrumentation, Strategic Planning, Dealing with Complexity, Financial Planning and Strategy
    • Read Instructions such as work orders, diagrams, and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence of assembly
    • Review documents, such as production schedules, work orders, or staffing tables, to determine personnel or materials requirements or material priorities
    • Requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands
    • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
    • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, positive, professional, personable
      Qualifications
      • Manufacturing: 3 years
      • Cable Harness Assembly experience is very helpful
      • Supervisory: - 3 years
      • Knowledge of Lean production techniques a plus
      • Previous experience working in a fast paced and high-volume manufacturing
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office
