role within the energy efficiency department, make a direct impact
as you help bring energy efficiency offerings to diverse
populations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing
customers' experience and developing partnership relations across
the Residential and Commercial & Industrial customer sectors to
ensure equitable access to our energy efficiency programs.In this
role, you will track the customer experience to reduce program
participation barriers and work closely with external partners to
increase program visibility and customer engagement. This role
engages with external stakeholders and supports program strategy
and execution, as well as the implementation of internal activities
such as business support, coordination of services, program
offerings, and tracking program performance, budget spending,
participation, and key performance indicators.Essential
Functions
- Customers Relations:Develop and track community outreach and
engagement activities by building and maintaining relationships
with key stakeholders. Serve as a key point of contact for external
stakeholders to communicate the companys vision within designated
communities. Actively craft and promote business initiatives to new
audiences and partners.
- Customer Service: Understand, track and conduct reviews of the
customer experience through multiple program pathways. Participate
in meetings with internal stakeholders to discover and develop new
communication tactics and policies to better serve customers.
Manage internal and external escalated customer queries and
concerns. Analyze and track key metrics to identify trends and
highlight issues to meet the customer needs. Troubleshoot common
challenges for customers by working with multiple business units to
find appropriate solutions to support increased program process
awareness and participation rates.
- Partnership Development: Research, find, and recruit new and
diverse partnerships through proactive relationship building with
public and private entities to support equity and energy efficiency
goals. Develop and implement a partnership strategy to increase the
reach and impact of energy efficiency programs, including a
partnership directory. Coordinate the management of ongoing
relationships with existing partners and, where relevant, leverage
those relationships to greater collective reach in servicing
customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and
execute partnership initiatives, lead analysis, and develop and
communicate final recommendations for growing partner
relationships. Develop and manage reporting and financial tracking
of strategic partnership activities, as well as partner agreements.
Develop and deliver professional presentations to potential partner
organizations.
- Services Coordination: Work collaboratively with business units
and their implementation vendors, such as Commercial & Industrial,
Residential, Marketing, Education, Procurement, Evaluation,
Community Relations, and Supplier Diversity to help achieve
goals.
- Goal Tracking & Development: Track partnership goals and
performance. Report out partnership performance to internal and
external stakeholders. Monitor progress toward regulatory goals for
energy savings (where applicable), budget spending, program
participation, and internal purposes (key performance indicators)
of program implementation and productivity.
- Business Support:Provide support for Commercial and Residential
Program Execution teams, Commercial Sales and Channel Sales, and
Strategic Account Partnership teams. Business support includes but
is not limited to providing information and working collaboratively
with gas and electric utilities and energy efficiency service
providers across Massachusetts on a consistent partnership
strategy. Coordinate across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New
Hampshire with partnership best practices.
- Program Administration and Other Duties
- Develop and maintain a technical understanding of energy
efficiency services and measures that apply to programs,
technologies, and properties to reach workforce development
goals.
- Work with the Commercial Sales, Channel Sales, Strategic
Account Partnership team, vendors, and other external service
providers to establish and implement contractual
agreementsQualificationsTechnical Knowledge/Skill/Experience:
- Experience in customers relations, partnership development,
non-profits and/or community relations
- Experience coordinating and managing programs and contracts,
including development, and tracking of program performance
- Proven ability to effectively accomplish goals and deliverables
and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral and
excellent relationship building skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask; takes the
initiative to create and develop new processes, procedures, and
policies
- Ability to work and collaborate with diverse populations and
familiar with issues of equity and intersectionality
- Proficiency in relevant software, e.g., Microsoft Office Suite
(Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Some knowledge of applicable industry practices, trends, and
legislation, including familiarity with Massachusetts State & city
agencies.
- Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, or another language
commonly spoken in Massachusetts is an asset.Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Social Work,
Public Policy or other related field preferred with a minimum of 3
years experience in the above fields. An advanced degree is
